I know God He isn't some shallow idea maybe your religion was but He isn't. The heart is deceitful one day it likes this one thing one day it doesn't. Why do you believe in your heart anyway? Is it because the culture around you tells you that to know yourself you must trust in your heart? The deal is God is real not superficial and can handle not only reality but your hardest deepest problems. Your belief system can't give you worth, it can give you a reason for existence, it can give you a bases on which to judge. You are the one with no objective truth. Do you understand the narrative of the Bible? Since you made your statement above I don't think you do.  The entire law was a "schoolmaster" to let the jews know that you can't fulfill the law without the spirit of God. It is a tool to bring about humility. So that we can see that we are a sinners in need of grace from God. That grace came through the cross when Jesus died for our sins. Now that I have accepted God I am under the law of the Spirit. I have new desires and those desires move me toward the things of God. Also I have already talked about slavery you are assuming that the slavery spoken about in the laws was the same as those around Judaism and or in America past or even today.

You shouldn't lie to yourself and misread the Bible and create a false god to disbelieve in, it won't save you. I believe and know the true and living God. You have already stated that you think I deserve to burn in Hell forever, and you have repeatedly called me a liar by refusing to acknowledge the veracity of my faith, which was sincerely held for over 20 years. You are not my friend, and you do not love me.

Nobody said I don't have objective truth; quite the opposite. I believe in objective reality and objective truth (I've referenced both multiple times). I just don't believe in objective morality because it doesn't exist. The system you're proposing isn't even "objective morality," but "Divine Command Theory," which is completely arbitrary and subjective and is not at all the same thing as objective morality. Even if you were right, Gaud were real, and all his rules were morally binding, that still wouldn't be objective morality, and that's not what you're actually arguing for. The fact that you can't see this is yet more evidence of the damage religion has done to your thinking processes.


I don't think there's any need for pretense. The difference between us is quite plain. You believe in magic and won't listen to anything that's said to you unless it comes out of a Bronze Age book of fable and superstition (but only if it's your favorite).
