Getting a christian rebuttal on an atheist's perspective on christian books? I wouldn't be surprised if there are already videos about that.
Actually atheism isn't a big enough part of my life to motivate me to bing a kid up on Steve Shives and Matt Dillahaunty and such. Though if it comes up, and I know it would with my family, we'd have discussions on it. My nieces haven't mentioned it to me yet, but my child would likely want to know why daddy never takes him to church like Na Naw does.

Now I've found out that they have invited my daughter to an easter egg hunt at their church and my wife has been playing it up buying an easter basket for her. Now it makes me the "meanie" for not letting her go with her friends to pickup easter eggs. Yeah.. I am gonna have a long talk with the wife too..
I'm taking my time to think about it and decide my next move.
Here's a novel Idea. let her go and let her make up her own mind about easter, Jesus and the whole bit.

What we teach kids is backed up by evidence. What you teach is backed up by faith. Instead of trying to drag us down to your level, why don't you try lifting yourselves up to ours. Most atheists are not as bad as your typical theist.
