The NFL really needs a win on this. They need to pull the combine immediately. They need to make Indianapolis a no go for further Super Bowl host site contention as long as this bill stands. That's a LOT of money off the table for a city with a brand new stadium/sports complex.

I don't know if would change much, but it would also be good to pull all primetime games from Indy as well.

Maybe it's time for the Colts to pull out - you know, like they did to Baltimore - in the middle of the night on those Mayflower trucks.

*Still jaded over that one. For those of you who don't know about that - The Colts used to be the Baltimore Colts until one night under cover of the dark skies, they left and headed out leaving us without a team until 1996 when the Cleveland Browns came and changed their name to the Baltimore Ravens. I am originally from Baltimore. Grew up there and lived there for the first 26 years of my life until I came to a halt in PA. I was an avid football fan from the age of five and I remember how upset I was at hearing that the Colts had deflected to Indianapolis. Because of how they did it, they lost a huge fan base, myself included.

Yeah, they should up and move one state over as sort of a "fuck you" to Indiana.

I can't speak for Esquilax, with whom I tend to agree with the 'bling bling' comment (not that it necessarily wasn't racist, but where the benefit of the doubt should be), but 'fried chicken' and 'watermelon' in place of bling I would see as racist. Largely because those foods are not only still associated with a particular race, but because their use has always seemed to have a demeaning quality. I'm not excatly sure exactly WHY they're demeaning beyond being stereotypical, plenty of white people like those things too, but it's a fact that going in that direction is hurtful and appalling.

My friend is a higher up at GenCon, and they've also raised some questions regarding the new "religious freedom" bullshit. They're contracted to having the convention in Indy until 2020, but they always start planning conventions five years out, and are currently looking into potentially moving cities once the contract is up because of this. Maybe the Colts can be the team to go to the city no one wants to move to. Los Angeles Colts, maybe? Of course, it would depend on the owner's take on the situation. Here's hoping they're not bigoted fucktards.
