That's the thing though, what makes someone a deity? A certain level of magic tricks? What's the difference between a very powerful non deity and a deity?

That's one of the major problems with the god concept, there are as many concepts of god as there are minds.

I mean, it's literally impossible for someone to show me they are omnipotent, for a start. And it's impossible to uniquely prove they are the "god of the bible" because it's a shoddy text account, it's hardly a DNA genome.

Honestly labels don't matter much. I'm more inclined to just call myself, "A person lacking a strong belief one way or another," to avoid the assumptions and connotations people bring to the words atheist and agnostic; also, I do it to avoid the stupid verbal disputes idiots want to have over those words.
