What kind of insane bullshit is this? You can turn away someone if they don't meet the dress code standards of your restaurant, period. If the dominatrix and slave are not up to dress code, then of course you can turn them away for that.
Are you really this dense or are you being intentionally obsfucatory?

Would you cater a Klan cross burning party?

I would provide the food for their party provided the paid me. But I'm half black, so they probably wouldn't ask.

Yes, I can think they are assholes without discriminating against them. I would do the same thing for a Christian church or a baptism party, I don't have to share your beliefs to do business with you.

A couple of years ago, I owned a little crafting studio where people came to make stuff. An eight-year-old girl had very Christian-themed birthday party there. I even made a Christian-themed playlist, and stocked Christian-themed odds and ends for their crafts. I got $500 out of that party.

Let me explain why that's a really bad idea.
The pizza shop owner indicated that she didn't have a problem with interracial couples coming into her business and ordering pizza. However, she would have a problem catering an interracial couple wedding because of her religious beliefs. The compromise: allow her business to continue serving interracial couples and the rest of the public in her establishment, but not forcing her and other business owners of faith to accommodate interracial couple weddings and anything else associated to interracial couple marriage, which would be contrary to their religious beliefs.
Doesn't sound so good now, does it?
Your ignorance of history and the glibness with which you equate the unique and pernicious evil of racism is appalling. The compromise of freedom of association still requires the necessary evil of government intrusion in the case of race. Government intrusion into the free market by means of "Jim Crow" laws actually prevented people from pursuing their best economic interests. However, because the legacy of slavery is such a deep scar and terrorist groups like the KKK, purely market forces would probably not been enough. I'm sure dozens of other pizza joints would be happy to take their money. Besides what are you going to do fine them. Losing business is already a fine imposed by the free market.

Bigotry is bigotry, no matter the reason Chad. The way you race to defend it is more than appalling, it's utterly revolting.

So....what was the point of the law in the first place? (emphasis is mine)

"Those are the rules," as though that's any kind of answer to the issue. As though there have never been any immoral rules that needed repealing.
Just to illustrate how completely vapid and lacking in worth your position is, let me change a few words around:
"Sorry Isabel, Blacks are not a protected class in Indiana. The pizzeria doesn't have to serve gay people if they don't want too."
"Sorry Isabel, Women are not a protected class in Indiana. The pizzeria doesn't have to serve gay people if they don't want too."
"Sorry Isabel, Christians are not a protected class in Indiana. The pizzeria doesn't have to serve gay people if they don't want too."
But those are the rules, right? And rules must always be thoughtlessly followed, no matter their content!

Blacks are a protected class in Indiana. From what I understand, gays are not. I think I read that on the Huffington Post......so I could be wrong.
Esquilax, you claim, "those are the rules" isn't a good answer when you don't like the rules. When you like the rules, its "Well if they don't want to serve gay customers then don't open a pizzeria".
If you really....really....really think "those are the rules" is not a good answer. I agree with you. I was satirizing all the morons who make that claim when they happen to find the rules favorable.
