I actually had the opposite happen. I was the Christian and my ex (who's pretty cool actually; four years running) was some sort of atheist/igtheist. We had the talk about a year ago and found a lot of common ground. Now, to get her to dump that asshole she's with (who's actually a really nice guy).

I feel for you, TRS. Keep us updated, and I hope it goes well.

Exactly. That is exactly what is going on here. She's never noticed the FSM decal on my Jeep? Lol...My son is going to be just fine. She won't understand his arguments, but he will...and that's all that matters.

As long as he's skeptical enough to question things that from the outside are patently stupid, your ex doesn't stand a chance, and you get the added benefit of smugging as a beaming proud dad.
