"boring" is a POV issue. Again, to you it is boring. That does not mean the sport itself sucks, it just means you are not into it.  And what do you mean by "puffs", again, that is crap said by people who have never played the game. Those pads don't make the players wimps. If there is one myth I hate that non fans have it's that stupid myth.

My prediction for every soccer game this year (season? Do they do seasons?): 1-0.

In the era where you can't look at a dudes helmet, somehow the Steelers get away with kicking a dude in the face. I figured the Steelers are finding such unheard of ways to foul another player that the refs don't know what to call. Haha God dammit all.

Yeah cause James Harrison never got fined or anything.

The only difference between you and me is I don't assign "all this" to old books or sky heros.  I can value for example, the compassion of Ann Frank and King and Malala, without believing in a sky hero.

It should also not shock you at all that there are atheists I don't agree with and don't like. I don't mind it at all if theists don't like me personally, I am an individual. I also don't like it when other atheists think my personal conduct is something they have a right to control.

I found it funny, but in the sport I personally like NFL, I hate to see really dumb thinking at that level. But even at that level, it should also show that ultimately we are still flawed humans.
It's not theism/atheism, it's that you're a gay ABBA-loving dishwasher.

Thanks for update on law, didn't know it was required by law to be gay to like ABBA. Not gay but wouldn't be ashamed of being gay and was not ashamed of being a dishwasher either. I also find it funny when people think they are insulting someone when the reality is they are exposing their own insecurities. My taste in music also includes Metallica, STYX, Pat Benatar, some classical and big band and Jazz. Oh and if you like Queen like I do, understand that Freddy Mercury was bisexual.

Ha Yeah, Steel already corrected me. I was going so apeshit at that point that I wouldn't have noticed if he fumbled and we ran it for a TD.

Spencer Lanning was just in the way. AB did what he thought was best. Cleat to face. It's what all of us would have done in that situation.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I think it looks like AB predicted he would go low, so he went for the hurdle, and when he didn't go low, AB thought "fuck it", or just reacted naturally. These guys are trained to not hold back in split second decisions, so you're right, this would have happened with almost every player in that situation. I'm still butthurt..
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Meh.

Good at the time, haven't held up well. Saw them once, had a nice buzz going.

Good voice, crappy songs.

Good stuff. Lately I've been listening to west coast jazz.

Possibly the best male singer of the rock era. Amazing what he could do with his voice.

You're gay for listening to ABBA because their music is gay.

Again, musical taste does no affect someone's sexuality magically otherwise you'd be bisexual if you like Freddy's voice. It really does not matter to me if you think I am gay. Still not an insult.

The histrionics of NFL players is what initially led me to lose interest in them and the game....that and the fact that the owners are crooked, greedy, cocksuckers, too.

But, and here's the but.  The NFL encourages that kind of unsportsmanlike behavior.  It could end it in a heart beat if it wanted to.
