Atheists aren't all ethical egoists and don't used Satan as a symbol. Why is this hard to understand. I don't mean to sound rude but come on. This isn't rocket science here.

Not all cars are ford model cars.
Trying to say they are the same thing is either midguided or dishonest. Trying to brush away their differences and equate them is misguided or dishonest.

LeVeyan Satanism is a whole religion, which happens to not involve god worship so its members are likely to be atheist:

So these Satanists are (almost certainly) atheists, but atheists are not in general Satanists. It's like all members of a particular woman's group are women, but not all women are members of that group nor share its ideas.
So how does it differ from atheism, exactly? It seems to me like you're trying to say that Satanism is different because it's a group or cult, which doesn't really make it much different from atheism IMO.

There is no general statement you can say about atheists, other than they are atheists. Not so for Satanists, they are making clear their philosophy.
Satanism is the philosophy of the lack of belief in gods. Same as atheism.

I don't think so, I just don't feel like I've received a clear answer, other than "they're a group" - which, like I said, isn't really a good answer.
