What christians believe is just as relevent as what atheist believe. I say this because neither side can 100% prove their view.
It bothers me because they are treating mythology as fact. And, in doing so, they give credibility to a story that deserves none.
And another thing that bothers me... We have DirecTV. Recently, one of the movies being broadcast was "The Ten Commandments". When you highlight something on the program guide it provides a synopsis and categorizes the show. When "The Ten Commandments" was highlighted, this appeared: "Movie; Drama; History". I about choked! "HISTORY!?!?!" So, it's an historical FACT that Moses spoke to a burning bush? It's an historical FACT that Moses parted the Red Sea? It's an historical FACT that "God" sent an angel to kill every first born son? This is the kind of bullshit that gets under my skin.

And your source for this is....?
Thor this is one site en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crucifixion_of_Jesus#date
Try again. Your link is unclickable and I can't find anything in Wikipedia to corroborate this.
Thor Sorry you could not find it but
Min did and as usual he presents only what he wants others to see. I presented the entire article so you can come to your own conclusion.
Thank you for your answer.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Okay, where is the article?
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?

I presented the section which was relevant to your ludicrous assertion. I am not your fucking secretary. As Thor suggests learn how to properly post a url or deal with the fact that people who have to hunt down your fuck-ups will be less than pleased with you.
Although, I grant you, I have thought you were a moron since your very first post. That is not an impossible achievement but it is quite rare.

Anyone interested in reading that article can do so by copying and pasting the following text from GC's post to your internet browser. I will comment on this myself in a minute after I read it for myself.
wikipedia.org/wiki/Crucifixion_of_Jesus#date
Okay, I have read the article on wikipedia and my conclusion is that the date of Jesus death like all other things Christian is based on nothing more than speculation of an fictional event that never happened. All of the dates so far have been derived from the gospels themselves which in my opinion are not a reliable source of information. Although they have tried to verify the events that the bible claims occurred after Jesus alleged death, this proves nothing. It only proves that if true there was an solar/lunar eclipse and earthquake on that day but it doesn't prove that Jesus was on the cross. The biblical account states that it was dark for about three hours but the article states that the lunar eclipse only lasted 30 minutes. There is alot of symbolism in the story itself indicating to me that this is a fictional event based on oral traditions and myths. It seems to me that the NT authors were trying to tie this fictional event with true events relevant to the environment in which this alleged event occurred.

I agree Min! They weren't zombies they were resurrected saints whom God decided to raise up to scare the shit out of all those people who did not believe that Jesus was the son of God. I wonder what they did once they were raised from the dead, do you think they went to synagogue?

Min that pic brought tears to my eyes from laughing so hard. I loved that movie, it's night of the living dead if I am not mistaken?
