Well, according to IMDB we can expect a new Star Wars film ever two years through 2019 and considering Disney's love of milking everything with the slightest degree of success until people are ready to puke of overexposure, probably much longer than that.
Episode XIII Episode IX J.J. Abrams is directing neither at this point, the duties falling (for now) to Rian Johnson, who has very few directing credits, for ep. 8 and Colin Trevorrow, who has none, for ep. 9. Granted, every great director was once a rookie, but it seems that Disney is counting on J.J. to rekindle the passion and the Star Wars brand to carry the load after that. I really, really, really want to be wrong, but...
