All I did was ask a sincere question. I heard an interview on NPR with the Chief Psychiatist. I wanted to know how others, who might know more, felt about that. I'm glad you were able to find that study. A sincere question doesn't start with a conditional, Chad. The implication by quoting what you quoted was that Johns Hopkins thought the procedure controversial.

Hence why I told to look at his name - The celtic cross is the new symbol of white supremacism to avoid being too obvious with the Swastika - Obviously it's a gross misinterpretation of the symbol as the celts were a people like any other and they happened to be white - I'm probably "celtic" looking as most of my ancestors were celtic, but it's horrible to use their symbol as a motto for white supremacism.

While I have the opportunity...gender dys, holy shit. To me, that's buddies with alzheimers and ulcerative colitis. It's on the shortlist of things I don't think I could live with for any amount of time. It would be too much for me, I think. Dissociative breaks, np......gender dys, no dice. Not for me.

Being trans is a medical condition that makes one's brain work like the opposite sex. I'd be disturbed if her parents wouldn't let her transition.

What I don't understand is how a child knows what another gender feels like. Or anybody really. When a biological male says they feel female, what does being a female feel like?
