I'm worried they are putting that kid in pysichal danger from crazy people. Its their job as parents to  protect their children, yes it maybe at the expense of her happiness temporarily but at least wait until she can defend herself. It's not like I'm say transition when she's 50, but fifteen or sixteen (maybe even fourteen since a good chunk of males don't start puberty until then) shouldn't be that long of a wait for an eleven year old.

Please read the entire thread and the things cited here, then do some of your own research. You are clearly uninformed about this issue and you need to read about it before you start throwing your opinion around as if you know what you're talking about.

Please don't think I'm trying to be mean; I'm really not. I just think it's important for you to understand what it is you're discussing.

1. Just because a doctor says certain hormones are safe doesn't make it so! As somebody who's been on lots of meds I can tell you a degree doesn't mean poop when it comes to your body's responses to medications.

2. It is MY opinion that no one should expose their children to danger. They should probably enroll her in Girl Scouts and start homeschool until she's ready to transition

3. No 11 year old on the planet has the maturity to make medical choices, or emotional maturity understand what I suppose should be call "pre-transitioning"

My taken on this is simple, direct, and unequivocal. Sex and gender binaries are irrefutables of science, of natural order and selection., and they map perfectly enough on to each other to be easily handled by parents who have the confidence and backbone to say, "NO!" to the inevitable whining of butch dykes and sissy faggot "bois." "Transgenderism" is one of the biggest hoaxes ever perpetrated by radical feminist "social constructionists" to disrupt family health and stability and parental rights.

affirming words. Even for a prospective soldier, a blatant dismissal of transgenderism is asking for trouble. But y'know what, Rebecca? Maybe you've arrived in a similar place. I don't fucKKKing care whom I offend with truth. The "evidence" of gender dysphoria isn't worth the (expensive) paper it's printed on; it doesn't warrant any audience, never mind one of academic and clinical poo-bahs. And I'm a mere layman in the field.

Protip to everyone (and apologies if this has been cited before), I would take everything written by the Daily Fail with a pinch of salt. At the very least check other sources first before taking them at their word, because they have a very right wing Christian moralist perspective on things and tend to demean anything and everything.

FYI, I believe this report might be linked to a documentary that aired here in the UK about children with GID. I can't be sure but I'd be willing to bet the DM have taken something out of context and twist it into a story about two lesbians forcing their child to be a girl.
