My wife is a good catholic woman. I will say no more as the prudest of women usually have the most desire. It almost makes me think that my kindness is mistaken as weakness.

I would not date a theist, for the same reason I would not date someone who believed in Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy. I would not date someone like that because I could not respect such a belief.
Also, I know that religious belief can wax and wane, so that it not seeming to be a problem now does not mean it will not become a very serious problem later on. Of course, it is your life, and you may do as you please. But since you asked, I think it is a really bad idea to date a believer in ridiculous nonsense. I held out for a nice atheist woman, and have been very, very happy with her for over 20 years. You can find them if you look for them. The internet makes it easier than ever before, easier than when I found my wife. You can look for atheist and freethinker organizations in your area, and, if there are any, go visit them, and meet some nice atheists. You can also use online dating sites, if you wish. It is really nice living with someone who does not have a head full of idiotic shit. "A wise man ... proportions his belief to the evidence." — David Hume, An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding, Section X, Part I.
