I definitely appreciate all the feedback and suggestions. I have noticed over the course of my time on this forum that I am not as well-versed in my arguments and opinions as most people.

Kinda tepid and flaccid sexually, too.
We'll deve you up soon enough. Keep coming back !! The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
The New Atheist stuff (which most folks have recommended so far) gets pretty samey after a while. What particular topics are you interested in from an atheistic perspective? (Perhaps topics related to your deconversion?)
I'm interested in anything really, whether scientific, philosophical, or just argumentative. I am just trying to learn more to both strengthen my arguments and broaden my perspective.

Not The Bible is a fun read. Kinda dated these days, you needed to read it during the Reagan era. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

(Just trying to get towards something a bit more specific - there are so many books out there relevant to atheism/religion that it is tricky to know where to start without simply giving you a long list of my personal favourites!) Nonsense: A Handbook of Logical Fallacies by Robert J Gula will help you learn logical fallacies and how to identify them, and also basic argument in the form of syllogisms. Not comprehensive by any means, but a reasonable place to start.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

I wouldn't mind a list of your favorites. I intend to read a great many books about the subject.
