Anarcho-capitalist libertarianism
I've been looking into it, and it seems pretty interesting. I like a lot of the ideas I've read. I've read a short book called "Chaos Theory" to get an idea of how such a society could function. Does anyone know of any good books or articles to read? I've just been using Google....

Ah thanks Smile I've been a Libertarian for quite a while, and Anarcho-capitalism has truly peaked my interest. I appreciate the link!

Personally I support a more Socialist viewpoint, in fact, very socialist. I don't mind Capitalism, when enacted properly..it works, but the current Govt in the majority of the world is a mix of Socialism and Capitalism, something that will not work.

I agree with you completely. It just so happens I take the Libertarian "capitalism done right" viewpoint. Like you, I don't like the "mix" that my country as well as most of the other countries implore.

Wow. Finally, a socialist that admits Capitalism works, and that a mixture of Socialism and Capitalism doesn't work.

Kudos to you sir.

Heym

Anarcho-capitalism? Like we have currency but no rules?

"Wow. Finally, a socialist that admits Capitalism works, and that a mixture of Socialism and Capitalism doesn't work."

Uh oh, what about Canada? Certainly our quality of life is much improved over our neighbors, because of our textbook Socialist policies. But that is old Canada, before we joined the war and voted in two terms of stupid Conservatives. Old Canada that had a well functioning tax-funded health care system. Strong Welfare and UI programs. Social assistance out the wazoo. The mixed economy, when balanced well, can be very strong I think.

I would be more socialist than capitalist, but really I just want to live in a place that isn't evil. Both schools can be bad, and can get very bad. I think we should put the trees in charge.
