Do atheists fake egalitarianism?

@Rob, I don't support egalitarianism because I see it as a naive ideology/philosophy - No one is equal to anyone, we are all different and certain degrees of hierarchy are necessary. I support some degree of equality specially before the law. Not all humans are equal, nothing is equal, and no one has the same social value and equality.

As has been written repeatedly in this very thread, egalitarianism is not positing that all humans are equal in capability; it is the political outlook that all humans ought to be treated equally.

In other words, it is a moral prescriptive, not a descriptive term.

Yeah... I'm not sure what you're asking Judging what is and isn't a decent science site is going to be the important skill I suppose. There's going to be a broad range, and a lot of utter garbage out there.

What I meant to say is that the free spread of information does not threaten science like it does religion.

You don't think so?  Whe. Last I checked, I live in a country where a substantial fraction of the population trusts snake-oil-selling theologians and distrusts scientists.  Anecdotally, my ex, who isn't completely stupid and has a college education, falls into that category.

Free spread of information (which I would agree is a good thing) can certainly hurt science when such a substantial fraction trusts bullshit over reason.
