Ahhh ok makes more sense.
By the way I think all of my sexual desires are misdirected. Reproduction is a total turn off
Mine too mostly. There was a brief period (twice) where we really wanted to make a baby. That added a real extra to sex, a good extra. But when you don't want another one (or even a first one) yes fear of pregnancy is NOT a turn-on.

I literally get high on the (apparent) pheromones (funk, if you will) released as a man gets stimulated anywhere in the entire crotch area, and as the stimulation increases, so do the pheromones, and my desire to continue increases along with that.
I'd say this effect, since it is bio-chemical, would be independent of taboos, religious strictures, shaming, etc. Under the right conditions, this effect is better than a 'happy ending' for me, it is THAT good.
I think there would be some 'chemistry' issues (DNA consanguinity or divergence perhaps), some guys just don't emit the right chemicals, and some, bless their hearts, can't help but be a 100% jackpot.
LOL, I was around a guy smoking a cigarette the other day, first time in years apparently, and I was surprised I was keying on that smell to a degree. (back in the 70s, a very high percentage of guys I encountered were smokers. These days, it is a little different)

With all elements of religion removed, how open should an Atheist society be towards sexuality? Would the word "whore" even exist?
How open should we be...that's a very difficult question. I have no idea. In my mind anything goes as long as it's between mentally competent consenting adults. So I would say I am pretty open minded and I would definitely like to see more people being more open minded. I do not want to say goodbye to the word whore because it's one of my favorite nicknames.
Assuming that no one is being harmed or forced to do anything against their will, should we be open enough to go around nude and to have sex on the street corner?

I don't see how you can assume no one is being harmed by having sex on the street corner. I have no problem with nudity, but I don't think we should be fucking in front of small children. They're too young to understand.

I agree with you but I think the reason for that is the religious mindset I was raised with.
Think about this. Monkeys have sex anywhere and everywhere. None of the other monkeys are emotionally scarred by it.

But we are not monkeys. We are people. Things will be stigmatized whether by religion or social media or something else.

Imagine people having sex on a park bench. Now imagine that you are the one wanting to sit on a park bench, but people have just had sex on it. Do you really want to sit in some strangers' bodily fluids? It just isn't sanitary.
I have no problem with public nudity, but I do have a problem with naked people sitting on public seats. So on a subway or other public transportation, people should be required to be wearing at least shorts. Probably a shirt and shoes would be a good idea, too.
So, if public health is affected, then I care very much what people are doing in public. But I do not care if people are naked in public. (As far as I am concerned, all beaches could be nude beaches.)
As for sex, people make too much noise and are too apt to ignore issues of public sanitation (and everything else) when they are in the heat of passion. So I do not want people having sex in public.
However much you may wish to throw off the shackles of religion, you should keep practical matters in mind.
