i fucking hate christians they always just give condescending advice and false hopes. they are a cancer to this world and next time i get a missionary knocking on my door i just want to take my shot gun and blow their fucking heads off. why doesn't the government move to outlawing religion because they only make things worse? Just send the national guard and out law all religions and when they want to be martyrs and die for their faith, just shoot them in public and rape the christian girls because i hate how they act all righteous but deep down they are just as shitty as everyone else in this world.

i think as atheists what we need to do is stop laying low and remaining silent, and band together and take a stand. make christians want to kill themselves, or leave the country.

Two things:

1) That's pretty fucked up.

2) Christians outnumber atheists by at least an order of magnitude. As in, for every one atheist in this country, there are at least ten Christians. The atheists banding together aren't going to compel the Christians to do anything. The best thing we can do is convince them all that we're people too, we're not bad, and we deserve to be represented by our country, like everyone else. If we want that to happen, you'll have to refer back to point #1. Wishing violent death and rape on them is not going to endear us to them.

Actually wishing that Christian girls gets raped makes you as reprehensible as Deuteronomy.

Yoplait, it sounds like you're the kind of person who gives their all to things they believe in. There are many groups who could use your support when it comes to keeping religion out of government: The American Humanist Association, American Atheists, the Freedom from Religion Foundation, Americans United for Separation of Church & State, and the American Civil Liberties Union come to mind. If you join one or more of them, it will be dues money well-spent.

I make one exception and one exception only: Dominionists.  These people seek the overthrow of our secular form of a Republic and replacing it with a fascist theocratic Christian state.  I take their threats of killing people who they consider undesirables (anyone who is not just like them: gays, intellectuals, atheists, agnostics, people of non-Christian religions, Christians who are "not Christian enough"). 

These wackadoodles exist. Theocracy Watch I think you overstate their threat, though. They would need to pass a number of constitutional amendments to come close to accomplishing their goals and that simply isn't going to happen. The bar to pass an amendment is high enough that nothing controversial will get through. The biggest thing we have to worry about is some weakening of church-state separation as a result of a Republican President replacing liberal judges with conservative ones. 

You forget one thing.  They are in the military too.  You...better...take...them...seriously.
