Hannity gets served by an atheist... and his own stupidity

RE: Hannity gets served by an atheist... and his own stupidity
I'm sure there's some catechism that gets him out of it.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Wow, what a dishonest interview. Definitely am not surprised because of the asshole who was conducting it. He was putting words into his mouth the whole time, and then trying to ask him something else, so he couldn't respond to the dishonest attacks put on Dave.

I'd say Bill Donahue would win by hair over Hannity though Parkers Tan haha. Donahue has actually made my stomach twist on several occasions, watching him in interviews. How he's head of the Catholic League, blows my mind. You'd think they'd want someone that is a little less smug, a little less of an arrogant piece of shit, less of a prick, and is not willing to attack the intelligence of atheists. "Oh yeah, usually, intelligent people believe in god." Although, Hannity did the same thing at the beginning of the interview. I despise them both, but Donahue thinks he's on this pedestal, and that everything in the catholic faith is true, and if you don't believe in it, you are a huge fucking idiot.
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.' -Isaac Asimov-

They have to use someone who argues improperly. Otherwise, they would lose and not be able to shore up belief in Catholicism.

Randy, what does it mean, to you, to be a new atheist?

It's a common term. I think you've heard it before.

Randy, why don't you try to put it in your own words?  I know you have trouble thinking for yourself, but I believe in you.  You can do it.

Take a look at my "Why Be Good?" thread.

Starting around post 450 or so, four MODERATORS, pocaracas, Stimbo, rexbeccarox and Cthulhu Dreaming start talking about military hardware, rock biters(?) and some movie called "Tank Girl" etc.

It went on for about 50 posts or so.

One might be tempted to say that it was a deliberate attempt to de-rail the thread or filibuster or something.

So, yeah. This forum is not above shouting down anyone who disagrees with the atheist POV.

One might also say that it's a subtle way to drop a hint, Randy.

Ah...

So, I'm not merely claiming that stuff like this goes on...you acknowledge that it does and that you have participated. Hey, it's your forum, and I have agreed to play by your rules.

But thanks for the public confirmation.

And whatever became of Romans 13:1 - "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God"? Basically, you're supposed to submit to the authority of the Staff even if you feel that we're wrong.

Cthulhu Dreaming just confirmed what I wrote. Do I need more than that?

And I have agreed to your rules and have generally done so since our initial dust-ups (with only one mistake subsequently clarified by and with pocaracas).
