I think my heart just sunk!

I was so close to making the same lame joke because that song makes me cringe so much, and the singer even more. But I can hardly blame the poor guy for Dion.

He could have picked someone else.   Also, without his music, she wouldn't have stank quite so much.

I liked the Braveheart soundtrack.

So STII and Aliens are definitely among my favourite films, but I don't recall the soundtracks. I shall pay attention next time

It's simply not humanly possible to mention the Titanic without someone referencing Celine Dion. Simply... not... humanly... possible.

Actually it's parts of ST3 sound track he reused for Aliens, virtually note for note.  He also reused the same theme for parts of braveheart.

Having had his big break scoring for ST2 and 3, he was too uppity to do more work for the franchise that gave his career birth, claiming it would now be beneath his more elevated status.

No, and rightly so. It would be like talking about Outbreak without mentioning hemorrhagic fever.

Except for the little, teeny-tiny fact that hemorrhagic fever is an integral part of the plot of Outbreak while Celine Dion merely sang the song that played over the credits of Titanic...  but sure, they're exactly the same otherwise.  :p
