Was hell a later invention to scare believers?

RE: Was hell a later invention to scare believers?
Then again, maybe I spoke to soon, perhaps...had he been so inclined..he could have made it so that you sealed your hellish fate by even -thinking- unkind and therefore blasphemous thoughts regarding all of the above.

See, god thinks of everything, he has all the angles covered.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Fuck! I've been one-upped twice without Jesus having to break a sweat. So we now have the trifecta of evil. What could possibly ever be more evil?

I've asked this before, open to theists, and no one was able to give me an answer as to what would be more evil. That would worry me, personally. The guy I worship has done something so bad I can't think of anything worse. Not only has he done it, he willingly perpetuates it.

Oh yeah. Jesus made sure all accounts about him were written really late by non eye witnesses so as to increase the chance of following his instructions wrongly by human error. Wow, I thought the three pointer was good. He just threw one in from behind half-court!

The he created other holy texts to make the chances even less, while giving no indication which are fairy stories and which is divine truth...

Did you see that?

The letters are older than the gospels, they start popping up later. Much of it talks more of Jesus as a sky deity than an actual being)

Atleast by scholars who considers them authentic writings of paul. And even reading the unknown stuff of 1 John, 2 John and 3 John letters who is unknown to who wrote them. But what i just got was "Not in the book of life". Actually hades was the word used as the afterlife for the people who dont follow this religion. Although there have been some debates whether gehenna in the gospels are symbolic for a torture place or just a garbage place outside of jerusalem. (But those are afterall not by eyewitnesses. So yeah)

The only thing i could consider being more direct is "Book of Revelation". Although this was not added til later, because some thought it was a fake. It was not til ca 400 AD that it was added as a last canon in the new testament.

Either way, wanna know what you guys think?

A lot of the basic Christian beliefs come from the Persian Zoroastrian  religion, including the idea of eternal punishment in hell (purgatory).
