I very nearly bought a Stouffer's french bread pizza 2-pack, but only supreme was left (I hate mushrooms). How do you pizzaists feel about that?

First of all, a Stouffer's French bread "pizza" is not a real pizza. Second, mushrooms are a delicious and good topping for pizza. If we knew where you lived, we would show mercy on you and would drag you out of your house and to the edge of town and stone you.

Also, I forgot to say that what you were considering isn't really French bread either.  

But if you took a good piece of French bread, put some good tomato sauce on it, added various toppings, and baked it in an oven, it could be good.  I wouldn't really regard it as pizza, but it could bear a resemblance to pizza, though more importantly, as I already stated, it could be good.
