Nice photo app you have there.

Jacky Alcine, a Web developer who is black, took to Twitter to say Google's Photo app, released in May, labeled a picture of him and a friend as "gorillas.' The label showed up in a feature that automatically categorizes photos, like cars or beaches, so they are more easily searchable.

Ooohh shit. If I was Google, I’d be very embarrassed. At least they apologized, and it seemed the woman didn’t take it as bad as she could have (judging by the article). Yeah, technology like this, isn’t going to be perfect, and Google should be hesitant of using things like this. No matter how advanced a machine is, it’s not going to have the exact capabilities of a human brain.
