You're wrong. It only takes a few words from the herd's chief and the opinion of one changes the opinion of the herd.
I suppose you're right when it comes to "holy" books and scriptures...

Mini, I am pro life. Does this mean you think I am an a**hole?
He's referring to the Gun Nut thread in the politics forum.
I agree with George Carlin about "pro-lifers."

What type of "drastic measures" are you referring to? You mean like finding a way to force people to not have kids?
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Indian and Chinese one child policies are tragic when one considers that infanticide is the only way to account for the levels of gender disparity.
Edit: Got curious and looked again. India had only proposed a one-child policy, but it has never been implemented.

Well I am glad you don't think I am an a**hole.
Saying pro lifers do nothing for the unborn is a bit of a rash and unfair generalization though, don't you think? There are plenty of pro life pregnancy crisis centers that help the women and her baby before and after birth. And there are many pro lifers who involve themselves in or donate to such organizations. As for the killing doctors thing, only 8 abortionists have been killed in the past 40 years. A horrible thing, but still, a rash generalization about an entire group of people... just like everything else on that post. And how can I not like women? I am a woman. And I love being one. :
Just some things to think about.
