RE: Atheism the unscientific believe.
I actually agree with the OP, it really is mostly the unscientific who believe.

When the brain is dead, there is no activity.

Doctors do not know where that line is.  Doctors are wrong all the time.

Anyone that experiences NDE was not dead at that moment.

Oh, that is very interesting.
So from now on i should rely on people like you rather than from people who study for years and years like doctors.
You make my day IAT.  Smile

As a matter of fact, not rather, but yes, being as I was a medical professional for a significant number of years.  Talk to any reputable doctor and they will tell you that they do not know where that line is.  I have, on many occasions.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.

NDEs and out-of-body-experiences don't happen outside the body. They're basically dreams, and they are still generated by the brain. Nothing about them proves that they happen outside of a brain.
Did you find Heaven Is For Real to be a convincing and well-reasoned film? Fucking dolt.
By the way, mods discourage posting in red or green because they use those colors for official stuff. Better go with a nice, stylish pink instead.

Keep on guessing and masturbate your pink brain idiot.
There is enough evidence to prove that NDEs are real experiences.
When the brain is declared dead by a doctor and when the consciousness is alive and well
this is evidence that the consciousness can be active outside a dead brain.
Not only this but several people who had NDEs experiences could see things happening while their dead body was lying on the emergency room bed that is why i invited you to read these experiences so you could wake up and grow up and leave the mental sewer in which you have been for so long.  Banghead

I've read plenty about NDEs, dipshit. They are the dreams of a dying brain. Nothing more. Just because a doctor has declared someone dead, doesn't mean all brain activity has stopped entirely. If they woke back up, they weren't totally dead. What part of this is so hard for you? I've already watched somebody explain it to you once.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

The brain give energy to the consciousness so this consciousness can be active and think or do things.
It is like the vehicle that you drive...

So since the brain is made up of billions of little cells, each living and dying at a much shorter lifespan than the body's, can you explain how the dying brain cells pass off their little bit of a soul to the next replacement cell?

When does the NDE occur? At the death of the very last cell, or at the death of 1/2 of the brain cells?

Have the individual cells ever had a NDE?

Sure, sure but can you please tell me if a river can be stopped from merging into the sea?
Have you ever seen that happening?  I'm all ears!

The last fifty miles or so of the Colorado river is dry wash much, if not all of the year. Evaporation, irrigation and Los Angeles all taking their toll until the river simple vanishes, far from the ocean it used to flow into.
