It certainly the fuck does not; you're absolutely right, though probably not in the way you're thinking.

So? The Quran teaches that there is no Gaud but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet. Buddhism teaches that we can break the cycle of reincarnation by sitting perfectly still for long enough. The Lord of the Rings teaches that Gandalf sacrificed himself so that Frodo could carry the One Ring out of Morea. What's your fucking point?
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

Based on books and maps I presume it exists, but that means I am not relying on my own observation. I am not sure what this proves?
Regarding Man-made Global Warming
I am not sure what you mean that this exist?
Are you trying to say if there were no humans at all, there would be no global-warming?
The following is just as dumb as the flying spaghetti monster.
Alien Life
Sentient Alien Life
UFO encounters (as in spaceships piloted by sentient aliens)
Ghosts
Have you seen any of these? Probably not!! Then what is the probability that alien life exists? Why is Alien life more probable then Sentient Alien Life?
If you really an atheist, you need to apply the same logic regarding the existence of Alien Life as you do regarding the existence of God. Hi ktrap
Am I reading this right, you're more certain that God exists than that your parents existed?

It also teaches to give up all your earthly possessions and beat your slaves properly. Missed that bit eh? -_-

I find such certainty scary.
I'm not even 100% certain that I exist in the way I appear to. I'm not certain that I have any control over what I'm doing. I'm not certain that I'm not some self-aware viewing device.

That is true, however I am genuinely interested in what Theists think. Would you mind re-ordering the list?

If you genuinely think that you can be 100% certain that something exists, then you are both arrogant and ridiculous in equal measures.

Well that is certainly a bold statement. It is also untrue on many levels. I can name plenty of theists who base their belief on logic and not emotion. Also, saying that faith is illogical is to completely redefine the word faith. The etymology of the word "faith" seems to have undergone a radical departure. Faith comes from the latin "fide" for which we get "fidelity". In Greek it is "pistis" from the verb "pietho" meaning to be persuaded. When you say I have faith in my friend you are making a statement of truth and reality. That he is a real person and someone you can trust.
Here is my list on the level of "certainty"
100%
My parents
My home town
Australia
Other Galaxies
95%
God of the Bible
Giant Squid
Man-made Global Warming
0%
Alien Life
Sentient Alien Life
UFO encounters (as in spaceships piloted by sentient aliens)
Ghosts
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.

No. Those theists THINK they have logical reasons. What they actually have is a series of logical fallacies with a wad of emotions tucked sneakily underneath.
The mere existence of Gaud is a sophisticated theological question, which means that we're not able to use faith in the general sense here. Faith, in a theological discussion like this, specifically means the belief in something without sufficient evidence to justify it. Mincing definitions is a semantic game that serves only to cloud the waters and create contention over points that are irrelevant to the discussion at hand.
