So now that common sense and overall critical thinking is kicking in the U.S. how do you feel now that you are apart of a sinking ship
and that people no longer take the bible and its teachings seriously anymore. Please go on and tell me how do you feel that
christianity can no longer be sold off in the U.S. but in other third world countries.

Assuming that common sense and critical thinking are the antithesis of Christianity, there is a sucker born every day. Even pyramid schemes haven't been eradicated yet, reason and all. You can't eradicate a belief (Neopaganism is a strange and real thing, for example), especially a somewhat charismatic one.

You are making some sense, but to be honest when was the last time a Neopagan attempted to convert you?  There are religions, as illogical as it may be that they exist, that do no harm to society whatsoever.  Then there are the three major harmful religions known as the Judeo-Christian horrors that do real harm to society.

Well I brought it up, since someone tried to convert me to worshiping Odin with him. He believed he had studied more than others in his circle, and decided that one day he would need to hang someone to death from a tree someday to prove his devotion. Anyways, fun tangent over, I think this is kinda a "guns don't kill people, people kill people" argument. Religion often just gives people a rationale to justify what they want, just the same as so many other things. Most religions are harmless, its the preachers/priests/etc. that need to be worried about, since they can pass their wrongful justifications onto others and incite hatred. The change needs to happen with humanity in general if you want to progress. Not just a change in beliefs, but a fundamental change in the human psyche is needed. Well the last part is what I believe.

Um?   It looks to me like you are talking past each other.  Evolution, gravity, the theory of relativity, and hundreds of other things are not fueled by intelligence, but they are discovered and described by intelligence.

Idiocy won't change the laws of physics, chemistry, biology, or economics.  Nor will it change the past.  But it does have an impact on what we decide to do in future.
