I can't quote the entirety of our discussion, and there is no one place where you said, "God killed infants because he knew they were going to heaven anyway," because that is not the direction our discussion went.(August 14, 2015 at 2:18 pm)Shuffle Wrote: 1. Actually, I do remember you saying that he did it because they will be going to heaven anyway. Stick to what you are saying. Please quote me - I think you're adding to what I said.

Yes, and saying that I don't find fault with god regarding killing infants because they go to heaven is not the same as saying that god kills infants because they go to heaven. Do you understand the difference? (August 14, 2015 at 2:58 pm)alpha male Wrote:Nope(August 14, 2015 at 2:54 pm)Shuffle Wrote: You said that if god destroys his creation, it is ok. It's okay to kill babies because they go to heaven. Gotcha. I'm going to remember this line of reasoning in the next Abortion debate.
@Topic, I can tell you the sad truth of why I worshiped as a Christian. Because I had it conditioned in me that good people went to heaven, and bad people went to hell, and not following God made me bad, so I went to church and did as I was told to avoid being burnt. Of course, I was a kid at the time, so I took everything at face value. Upon reflection, it was never about faith, it was all about fear. I'm sure I wasn't the only one in that boat. I'm glad to be out of it.
