Both have had about 60% of the water removed, but condensed milk has about 40% sugar added. Substituting one for other could leave you with something that is either too bland or inedibly sweet. At least that is how the products are labeled in the US. Things might be different in other countries.

Just trying to let you know that if you are preparing a recipe that calls for condensed milk and you substitute evaporated you are going to end up with something that isn't as sweet as it would have been had you stuck to the original ingredients.

wanted to make a pumpkin pie, turns out there are recipes for either sweetened condensed or evaporated. So, as far as that is concerned, you're covered. I'd imagine many other goodies can be made either way with the appropriate recipe. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I suppose I would consider them edible, I have eaten Circus Peanuts willingly. BTW, the 'lucky charms' in Lucky Charms cereal are Circus Peanuts.
