Contempt and an egotistically superior stance never convince anyone of anything.  

If their were only one kind of atheist or theist on this site and I wasn't following the 'theist' program, you'd have a valid argument. However because there are many different personality types you can't say I don't reach anyone. Or I'm not effective in what I do.
I am a 'live and let live' person, but I also believe in force feeding bullies a little taste of their own medicine.
Why? because by doing this it seperates those who are here just to troll from those who may have a serious questions. (and in some cases it shows a certain x-religious person they really had no idea who or what God really is.) If the troll knows he will get burned 9/10 times when he steps up, eventually he will stop stepping up. However if the troll has his way and does and says what ever he wants unchecked, then a lot of time effort and resources gets dumped on someone who is only looking to argue. Again that is a pearls before swine issue for me. I am not here for people like that. That is why I tightly regulate my responses to reflect the timber and content of those I write to. I try my best to put in the same effort you all put in.

 

 The "theological foundation" -- haven't you realized yet that for an atheist, there IS NO "theological foundation"?  You can't base something on something that doesn't exist.

This is a perfect example of me correcting atheist 'theology.' You seem to assume that theology is the acceptance of God. While infact the definition of theology is the study of the nature of God and religious understanding/knoweledge. One does not have to have a belief in God to discuss the nature of God. In order to discuss the nature of God all one must have is a belief in how God operates/would operate or how religion operates. Now take a good long look at the topics posted on this web site by you people. You all assume to know a lot about the nature of a God in whom you do not believe, and in this case Christianity That 'knoweledge' can be classified as theology despite it's actual content.

The vast majority of your arguments and questions are based on the same issue your 'theological arguement' was based on. a incorrect understanding of a word or precept. 9/10 your efforts are based on popular belief and not the source material for the topic given should be based on.

Oh right. Dozens of apologetic arguments, trying to explain to us why what we read in a completely worthless and offensive book of fables doesn't say what it says.  And why should we care what the Bible says anyway?  It's pure shit.

You shouldn't care, IF you do not have any desire to know God. But, if this were true, then why are you even here? I have no desire to know Thor or Zeus, and as a result I have never attacked or defend them unless directly asked to. I don't visit any websites dedicated to or against them, and I try to avoid foolish discussions about them all together. This is what the true picture of non belief is a supposed deity should look like. Constant arguments against a given deity is not non-belief/Atheism.

Atheism and true atheists are benign they don't care and rarly argue about God. However Miso-Theist Hate/Argue against God/religion, and seek opportunities to try destroy God and His followers when ever they can. If your a true atheist then the bible hold nothing for you. However if your a Miso-theist then the bible becomes a thorn/threat to you. If your heart is set on having these arguments based on God described by the bible then you should know that picture well as an effort to 'know thy enemy.' (so you do get schooled and look foolish like you did with the simple difference between petition and prayer.) It's hard to rightfully hate something you know so little about. Unless you were just a good olde fashion bigot. To be a bigot you can be completely ignorant of what you hate. You just hate it 'cause you hate it.

Oh, I love the hypocrisy here! You guys are all about the high road when your opposition has bann you from the low road. And even so you can't be truly honest about taking said high road. Example; you took my comment out of context in order to show case my use of the word phrase 'typical atheist hypocrite.' This phrase without any support of proof of wrong doing/hypocritical behavior, would cast me in a negative light. However if it is placed back into it's context/examples of said behavior the word phrase 'typical Atheist hypocrite' becomes a harsh rightfully rebuke for dishonst behavior. Which now show cases your very own typical atheist hypocrisy in pretending to take the high road, but misrepresenting my work in order to do so.

I make an effort to only work in the Christian/Religion section of the web site. if you want to 'feel safer' maybe steer clear, or at the very least don't engauge me. I don't 'target people.' I only speak when spoken to or you start an open thread.

I wouldn't say all. just the vast majority. why? because spelling and grammar =/= accuracy, content, truth, nor any level of research. I know this because I have debated writters, Doctors, Lawyers, Statesmen, Teachers, Clergy, and a whole host of others who had perfect spelling and grammar, yet did not have Truth and the research to support what they had to say. So what did most do when they all finally saw the writing on the wall, and knew their efforts had failed? They did what you are doing now. They tried to dismiss me and my work because I did not meet the standard of spelling and grammar they artificially inflated to mean something it was never meant to represent.

all spelling and grammar are, are guidelines designed to frame our written language, so that we all have one standard set of rules to teach. so again adhearance to these 'rules' in no way shapes or effects content or Truth. Only the those who have given their lives to 'rules' do these rules have any real meaning. That said people feign importance to these rules when it suits those people to have an intrest in them. Like with you for example. You have been trying to 'put me in my place' shortly after you arrived and I told you, that you did not know how to pray. You have started threads 'calling me out' (which is against the rules btw) and failed to put me in check. You have appealed to what you think my Christian values should be, you have called everything I have said and done into question, and now you're scrapping the bottom of the barrel with spelling and grammar, and even trying to appeal to my vanity through peer pressure (telling me people laugh at me and I am invading some public atheist sanctuary.) All to no avail.

'Spelling and grammar' in my 8 years of doing this on line is usally the last desperate act of someone trying to silence the message I bring, or a way for them to dismiss it.

(Never mind that there are obviously many members here who hold multiple advanced degrees in science, medicine, philosophy and other disciplines.)  What sort of person NEEDS the opportunity to degrade others to reinforce his delusions of superiority?  Pathetic. It's really very sad.

So when did a science degree educate one in theology?

This is where people talk about theology/God right? More over Christianity. So if a degree in some scientific field or even philosophy does not educate one on the nature of God, then please do explain to me how any of that they have been awarded translates to a larger measure of legitimacy in the nature of God or the bible when it is being dicussed?

God, my confused atheist is the Great Equalizer. God takes the lowly and foolish (those who probably can't spell and who's grammar sucks) and uses them to confound the self important and 'learn-ed.'

I've seen this far too often to be bullies or intimidated into silence. My 'foolishness' only serves to brighten the contrast of the truth God has me bring to the table. Yes you can see my flaws, my person short coming and temperament in what I write. Which means what is left, the truth that has toppled the foolish arguements and objections all those you and I listed is not from or of me.

Have you ever had a pizza or any food delivered? My brother in law use to own one of the best pizza places in town. They had the absolute best sicillian pizza ever. They did not employ their own deliver drivers, but used a service that would do the deliveries for them and a bunch of other restraunts. Now these drivers and their cars could at time be very scarry looking and 'rough' to say the least, and they had drivers that drove one or two year old BMW/luxury cars. Now, do you think that one of those awesome pizzas tasted any better or worse according to who delivered it or the car that was used to bring it to your door step?

The message I bring is from the best 'pizza place' ever. the 'owner' of said pizza place requested me (scarry driver with old broken down car) to deliver his pizza to people wanting their delivery guys to all drive bmw's. just to show them that the deliver drive had nothing to do with make the pizza, nor how it tasts.

I'm here to talk to fellow atheists.  I have no desire to "know" your imaginary friend.  I have no desire to discuss the historical fantasies about your imaginary friend.   

I hope you felt really superior after typing that rather amazing amount of dreck.  Now I think I'll just put you back on the block list.
