Serious moral question for theist.

RE: Serious moral question for theist.
Maccabees isn't even in the protestant bible. Purgatory doesn't come up much in churches around here in Bible Belt USA.
Poe's Law: "Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing."

Good video to watch, if you want to know how common the Jesus story really is.

If I could go back in time I would eliminate Moses and thereby save countless lives.

It's harder to sell hellfire and brimstone when the worst you get as a decent person who tried his/her best is purgatory.

Purgatory is a Zoroastrian belief.  It's not a generally held Christian belief.

If people were accountable for their own actions then everyone would go to Hell because only Christ gives victory over death.

So Chad, if you were able to time-travel back to the time of Jesus' execution and found that, for whatever reason, no one was available to drive in the nails, would you do it for the greater good?

But let's not leave Chad twisting in the wind. Any Christian, feel free to answer. Would you be willing to be Judas 2.0 to effect the "plan" you believe your god to have willed? Would you personally nail your savior to the cross?

If not, why not?
