I can get along with most anybody. Even people I don't like.
And, I'm the guy who's gonna get shot alongside the road some day because I tend not to just drive past a motorist in trouble unless they obviously have help there already.
It's a good thing to do that, but be careful.

I haven’t had to do that in quite some time. 
On another forum, I'm able to use "contacts and friends" to regulate my inbox content. I've had to do just that a couple of times there, but here and at TTA, I don't have those problems. Then again, I'm not a female online, which is a factor I'm sure adds to your stress and whatnot.

I only reported outright trolls. The ones who obviously are phonies right from the start or the ever returning spam bot, who tries to sell something by posting gibberish.

I think what is disheartening is when you are kind to people, and they snarl back. I'm so over it. :/

The way I see it, it's just the internet. If people start being verbally abusive and/or rude, I can just ignore their posts or leave the forums.
I've put three people on my ignore list here.

I do, in a way: I was in a long relationship with a woman I met online who told me a lot about that rowing -- and way back in the AOL days, I experimented with female names in order to see how the internet experience might be different vis gender ... and it is.
