I try. People who get on my nerves I'm cold to at best, and harsh at worst

Are you kind only to those who are kind to you?

I'm 100% diplomatic at all times...
Can't remember the last time I raised my voice to anybody except the cat! Being half Vulcan, I have my emotions chained in the basement under lock and key.
No God, No fear.

I don't ever intend to harm anybody, not even those who have wronged me. I may on occasion "tell people off" but this is because I feel they need to hear it, not to just be mean for the sake of it.
I try to treat everyone with respect, but I'm always going to be more openly friendly with people who are nice to me. I would help someone in need, within reason, regardless of my opinion of them. Feel free to send me a private message.

Generally I try to understand people and see the best in them even if they're my enemies and even if it means forcing myself against the grain to do it. Just because I'd rather do that than hold a grudge, for my own sake as much as theirs - it just leads to a happier life I think. But sometimes it's easier said than done, and it's definitely a lot easier to do from afar than when you're actually caught up in their shit. In other words a twat is a twat up close but once you step away from the situation you can take stock and regroup and try and learn something, and try to handle the situation better and be more patient next time.

Kind of.

In other words, are you a 'give what you have received' type of person? Just curious. I'm certainly the give what you receive person. But I'm starting out in a polite way and take it from there. I'm certainly not the person to play nice nice with anyone not trying to respect me. RE: Are you kind only to those who are kind to you?

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

And oh those cheeks. Turn them some more, girls.
