I swear a lot. People around me swear a lot. Don't even know if they're atheists or theists, so I really can't observe a trend. A stressful work day gets much easier when you speak your mind instead of bottling it in.

Oh yeah, I seem to remember studies have shown that swearing can help you cope. I think it was something like putting your hands in hot water and seeing how long you could keep them there or something. Those people who were allowed to swear did better than those who had to hold it in.
