RE: How to find forces that are not yet known?

Looking for discrepancies in existing data/theory has worked in the past.
Newton's theory of gravity didn't quite explain the advance of the perihelion of the planet Mercury as it orbits the sun. Einstein explained it (he did the maths) and in the process explained something no one had yet noticed (gravitational deflection of starlight near the sun) and that was checked out during the next conveniently located total solar eclipse.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

It starts with the basic senses, sight, sound, touch. If an object or force leaves an impression in our perception, we are able to discern that force and refine our understanding of it through observation and experiment. Once we learn to measure the forces that we can sense, we can look for other forces affecting those through measurements. Chaining this way, we can discover more and more forces. But it all starts with the basic senses. If there is a force which doesn't interact with any of these chains of forces, we will never discover it; it will be invisible for all intents and purposes.

And can safely be ignored.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Drop your light sabre into a strong gravity well and observe the results.

Please don't give the theists any more ideas about where they can squeeze their polyfilla god into...
