Please just answer my question. Do you believe that we should determine the facts of an incident before coming down on a cop, or a victim for that matter.?
When has an apologist, of any stripe and for any thing....-ever-...waitied for "all the facts to come in"? Are you, now, in this, waiting for all the facts to come in, or have you already indicated your support, and written others off as biased?

There is no longer a reasonable expectation to find that cops and criminals are a separate people, if there ever was. There -are- no facts that can redeem the evidence already presented, in this thread, on that count. You;re hoping for what? A lawful instance of institutional murder or neglect/dereliction of duty-ending-in-death? I deny that such a thing should exist, or can be excused....in the first place. Is it not the duty and purpose of law enforcement to serve and protect? Is it not the duty and purpose of a jailor to care for the inmates entrusted to them? Where does the death of John Q. Citizen or Jerome B. Incarcerated factor into that?

No. I think we should find out what actually happened and under what circumstances before we go off. From investigations performed so far over the last couple of years I believe that the cop is usually justified in his actions. Of course, I would agree this isn't always case and that we should lay the blame where it belongs and come down hard on wrongdoers. If a cop is acting a racist loose cannon then come down on him with everything we have, but let's wait to find out the facts before we make that decision.
Witnesses saw the kid running away, with his hands up. How the hell is an officer not in the wrong for shooting him in the back FIVE TIMES?

I think we all know how fast and dangerous Those People™ are. A police officer is currently empowered to shoot anywhere he likes, from any angle he likes, as many times as he likes...to prevent them from going out and menacing the neighborhood, or you know...because he's scared. Either will work.

Remind me, was it the suspect or the cop suffering from paranoid schizophrenia? Maybe that's what hung the jury? Obviously, we don't want to punish someone for mental illness, they can't help that.
