Great article! Explained in an intelligent, practical manner. The obvious truth here is that the world aspires to spiritualism, and God. But it also needs guidance.

You can see how powerful, and enduring Jesus' message is through Pope Francis. And that the measure of [real] power is the opposite of what men perceive it to be!

The so called "soft power" of: Humility, Faith and Love is an all positive force that always grows, and grows. While "temporal power" greedily, and continually grows and dies
over the millennia in a viscous never ending cycle riddled with evil, pain and suffering. Its easy to see why most people are drawn to the message of Peace, Hope and Love!

Nations will rise, and fall. But the Church of Christ endures!

For all the evil that men do for personal gain... on either side of the religious line, Jesus' message of truth is still loud & clear. And is very much desired by the masses.
And always will be! Or, for as long as the message remains the same.

True,the church cannot get destroyed.

But it can be twisted and corrupted. I'm pretty sure Jesus was strongly anti wealth, yet the Pope lives in a fabulous palace. Faith is not a virtue. It causes people to be close-minded. It tears families apart. I kind of wish christians were much more humble, but that doesn't mesh well with their need to run everyone's lives.

So OK what does going to church actually achieve? Would you still be a Christian if you didn't go to church every Sunday? If yes then why bother going?

I will define them according to the Christian definition.

• God (God is a person he is the supreme being,Our father,Creator,judge,omniscience,omnipotent,omni benevolent,God is the Trinity) 
  
• Heaven (God's place/place were God is throned)
  
• Aim and purpose in life (following God and obeying him,we were created for his glory)
  
• Inner peace and joy (When we accept Christ,we have a Inner peace and Joy because we have reason to live for Christ)
  
• Reconciliation (Restoring relationship with God,which is blocked by our sins)
  
• Sin (Breaking God's rules )
  
• Freedom (God gives us freedom from fear: fear of loneliness, fear of man, fear of death, fear of hell when we put our faith in him)

According to one the true apostolic church by saint peter head of the apostles.Not going church is a sin.

The catechism of the catholic church put's it like this.
CCC 2042 The first precept ("You shall attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation and rest from servile labor") requires the faithful to sanctify the day commemorating the Resurrection of the Lord as well as the principal liturgical feasts honoring the mysteries of the Lord, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the saints; in the first place, by participating in the Eucharistic celebration, in which the Christian community is gathered, and by resting from those works and activities which could impede such a sanctification of these days.82


The second precept ("You shall confess your sins at least once a year") ensures preparation for the Eucharist by the reception of the sacrament of reconciliation, which continues Baptism's work of conversion and forgiveness.83

The third precept ("You shall receive the sacrament of the Eucharist at least during the Easter season") guarantees as a minimum the reception of the Lord's Body and Blood in connection with the Paschal feasts, the origin and center of the Christian liturgy.84

So no one cannot be Christian without going to church.

And the sacrament of confession forgive's absolutely,any sin's that you done in your life but don't try to do it again. There is no sin that God cannot forgive,but it is important that you confess your sins otherwise if it's mortal sin you will not be saved.It's the same with unbelief as if you will not have faith you will not enter heaven.

• Sin (What we do in order to receive god's attention )

You kind of have that messed up. He demands servitude, and threatens us with hell. There would be no fear of hell if he didn't create it, and threaten to send everyone to hell by default. We have to dedicate our lives to him just to avoid it, and the only way we could avoid it after we die is if he removed our ability to think for ourselves.

I'm not lonely, and I don't fear death. Fear of men is kind of vague, but the worst men in the world tend to be those who act much like Old Testament Yahweh does.
