Yep. Why should I have a problem with that?
Photosynthesis maybe?

Reality doesn't trump magical thinking or absurdly creative reading of texts, houseofcantor. You should know that by now.

Because it was the spaghetti monster that did so. Stop listening to facts and just believe.

He doesn't even know why he should have a problem with believing things he knows are not true.
I rest my case.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

If you're reading it literally, then:
A. There was already light before the sun, so no problem with photosynthesis.
B. The sun came a day after the plants. Plants don't die from one day without light.
So again...what's the problem?

A. Light
B. A day without light.

Leaving aside the silliness of there being no problem with photosynthesis because "there was already light before the sun" 'cause Genesis, there is that little issue of heat. No sun, for however little time, means no heat sufficient to permit plant life, even for a day.
Unless, of course, you want to smuggle local heat into your just-so story and declare no problem. Or magic. Or whatever. I expect you'll do whatever it takes to salvage your story and don't expect you to be serious.

The problem is that now you're stuck ascribing to literal 24-hour day creation, else your second point makes no sense. That form of literalist creationism is demonstrably wrong in every sense we have ever tested.
You've swapped a small problem for a bigger one, and yet you're still wondering where the issue is?

So again...what's the problem? Because in order for god to create the plants he first had to create an Earth. If he created the Earth before he created the sun, around what did the Earth orbit? In fact the Bible doesn't have anything orbiting anything. God places the sun and the moon right here in the Earth's atmosphere, under the firmament.
