What do you think about the name meaning "The word of cylla's people". Implication: The word of God's people. If my name turns out to be evidently "God's own name" or whatever, what would you expect people to gather from that?

Well, "cylla" or "scylla" is Greek.   "The word of God's people" in Greek is (transliterated in English text) is "léxi tou laoú tou Theoú".   This, of course, sounds nothing like Killingsworth, and shares no meaning or origin with Killingsworth, not even if you're so high on crack you're speaking in tongues.

So, Killjoy, if you're going to post a name meaning on an online forum, you might at least pick one where the members aren't genealogists, historians, and multi-lingual.   

And if you're going to post a "what do you think of a name meaning _____ " you had better damn well at least give the etymology and history of a name, with it's development from the original language and form to the present.  If you can't do that, anybody reading your inane ramblings will know you're a moron, and     ^^^  what abaris said.  In spades.

With the name basically meaning "God's word" even you are out classed in your explination. And yes, I can back this up. Whenever my name is pronounced, you get the feeling that you are dismissing all other nobility all together. My point is you haven't addressed this, and my name is too high to not be the sons of God or God.

I doubt cylla is a sea  monster. Besides, I found "deity" for search results of cylla once. I get the impression that it actually means "the word of God's people" since afterall search results for the name cylla are so rare, it must be for this reason. That cylla is not found because it is the pronnounciation of an entirely different word.

Your name is a name.  It's common.  The only thing that is high is J get Bent.  And if you REALLY believed, for a fraction of a second, that your name actually made you somehow superior - - - you wouldn't be here, Killjoy.   Because here you have clearly proved that it is not nobility, and it is not "high".  You have proved that it is the name of someone who is mentally unbalanced, who is probably on a dangerous soup of pharmaceuticals, and who is stupider than a mentally-challenged chihuahua.  If you had any shred of respect for yourself or for your supposedly wonderful    name, you wouldn't be here trying to play comedian, wasting your time making a bunch of atheists chuckle at their computer screens.
