If I were able to walk you through the white house with my security clearance once to meet the PotUS, do you think you'd be able to come back when ever you wanted and meet him on your own?

I would be able to do that.
By asking you to come along with me.

The problem with that example is that you assume something that Jesus was able to teach Peter to do would suddenly be forgotten by Peter without the presence of Jesus.
That's like saying you got inside the white house and suddenly spots an old friend and chat up with her momentarily completely forgetting about whoever bought you inside White house only to be surrounded by Black Ops for trespassing - which you didn't.
If you were right whilst saying that it is Jesus's presence which enabled Peter to perform said miracle then he wouldn't have had trouble walking on water whilst still being in presence of Jesus by getting frightened by the wind and tides.

If this were true then Biden would be the PotUS now. (You seem too easily... fooled/distracted with what I though was something very easy to understand.) ISIS would have a bomb strapped to you inside an hour sending you off to make biden president without you knowing it.

Again Sport, The analogy Shows that being escorted by a person of authority is not something you learn. The Escort has the power to bring somewhere you could not normally go. Without Them you would be expelled.

The Escort is Jesus and the place you'd go is walking across the water.

We know this is the case because Peter when on the water loses sight of Jesus (the escort) and consentrates on the wind and waves he begins to drown. So again if Jesus 'taught Him a trick' by calling him out on the water then he should have been able to just keep going. Because Jesus never told Him to go back. but because Jesus Escorted peter out on the water through his faith, once peter lost his faith in Jesus essentially he lost his escort in the white house.

Not even close. when Peter lost focus of Jesus, in the analogy that would be the same as you loosing sight of your escort in the white house/You going off on your own. Your escort goes right, you go left doing your own thing. How long before they nail your face to the floor, with out your escort? That's why peter almost drown. And again as far as Peter walking on water with out Jesus do you think once you left the white house you'd ever be able to go back again the same way you went with your escort? No Jesus is the key here, not peter or some trick.

After Jesus walked upon the water to the boat with the disciples, and Jesus called Peter to join Him, and Peter gave it a go, and after a little problem with wind and doubt, Peter got the hang of it totally, and

for the rest of his life, he was always able to walk upon water  !!!

Huh

Jesus said that if people had real faith that they would be able to do greater things than he had done.  So can you walk on water?  If you can't then you don't have any faith so you are an atheist because you don't really believe in your favorite deity.  The fact that you can't do those things is proof that you don't have any real faith.  You are an atheist who doesn't believe in Jesus.

john 14:12-14 “12.Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13.And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14.If you ask anything in My name, I will do it."

actually not only did jesus (supposedly) say that anyone who believes in him would be able to do everything he has done and even greater things but also promised that if a true believer asked anything in his name jesus would give it . BOTH these promises are not true it is a lie . people who believe in jesus cannot do the miracles jesus did , and everything they ask in jesus name is not given . either jesus lied or john lied or whoever came up with this promise to believers lied , but what is for sure is that someone is a liar because believers can do neither of these things and this has not come to pass .

actually because of this LIE we have parents who refuse to take their children doctors to get medical care because they believe that if they just have enough faith and believe in jesus their child will be healed by jesus power because that is exactly what is said in the bible .

Good point Vorlon!
The power comes from believing only.
Once you know, it becomes fact and the power of belief disappears!
So basically the important thing is to believe in God and pray that you never meet him.
Else you're doomed like the rest of us. This is why fantasy can never meet reality.
Basically the act of believing in God is a paradox in itself. Drippy, you get it?

Loosing sight of Jesus =/= Loosing presence of Jesus.

I could be standing next to a bunch of hot chicks without even looking at them and still be in their presence(evident from my boner).
The point is, due to the wind and heavy rain Peter lost focus of or sight of Jesus. Peter was still in the presence of Jesus. If you were right then Peter wouldn't have had trouble while still being in the presence of Jesus. So then I would be right.

Your whole argument is based on the assertion that when a person looses sight of someone then they are no longer in the presence of said person. ^___^

Where does it say in the bible that Jesus' aura was contagious?
