I like dogs and cats (hell, most types of animals) better than I like a lot of people, and it breaks my heart every time I hear about their abuse. I agree with Thump that animal abusers should receive the measure they dish out.

Then again, we'd have to build fucking concentration camps for the factory farmers.

I know and it sucks so much that life is like that, that no-one else can help with a person's internal struggles I so wish I could do something because it tears me apart to see you in this pain, but I know there's nothing I can do or say that'll change the pain you feel and that you can't get help for And any suggestions I could have to feel better only work at most sporadically with me, and ultimately probably sound like woo or new-agey to everyone... it just feels wrong somehow to even suggest anything because I know it won't be good enough. I'll say it but I don't know how much help it will be, if any. At the moment I'm just trying to express myself so I've started learning about how to write poetry. I just want to be able to get shit out of me because I'm a bottler. That seems to my best way out of my hopelessness but I don't know what would be best for you

No she's sleeping in my son's bed. He started calling her Princess T_T
He's so sweet. It really sucks I can't let him keep her but she'll go into foster as soon as someone is available to take her. I don't know what that guy could do legally but considering his actions I doubt he will try anything.

I feel like if you are capable of beating/harming a defenseless animal, you can talk yourself into doing just about any horrific thing to an adult human.  I'm so relieved she has found refuge with you, Losty.

I'm glad too. If I lived anywhere near Losty, I would have a home for that sweet puppy.

I find Jack Russells to be one of the worst breeds for having that kind of temperament.

I also prefer big dogs, not those silly little rats. If it does those pathetic yips instead of barking, it's too small.

Pomeranians and Chihuahuas, for me, have this exact effect.

Give me a a good Lab or German Shepherd any day.

My neighbor just got a new dog, a little bitch with some Labrador in her. Sweetest little thing, I love her already. Scooter.

She loves lamb chops, too ... cain't be all that bad.
