Just realized it's been 10 years this month since I split up with my daughter's dad. A whole decade.
Despite the weird dating scene, all in all I can't complain though. Life is good.

Anxious. I'm going under the knife day after tomorrow, and I kind of have a phobia for medical procedures. I try not to think about it, not being terribly successful at it.

Best way to steady the nerves beforehand is to take a couple of drinks of something strong. Not good for the patient but he doesn't need to know...

Feeling tired. It was quite the weekend with one sick kid who ended up getting me sick as well.
Tomorrow night we are supposed to get hit with no less than a foot of snow, possibly two feet of snow. And here I thought we could escape winter unscathed. Guess not. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.

Not sure what you're having done, but I hear you -- I've never been under the knife before, but later this year should be getting a hip replacement, and it scares hell out of me.
