What Christians don't get is that their entire religion is based on a false view of the universe. Debating which little bit is somehow less false than some other little bit is like blowing the foam off the top of a beer. It might tickle your nose but the “real” stuff (that the god doesn't exist) lies much further down in the glass.
Pretty much and i am still scratching my head why bronze age religions are still a thing.
Because the stone age religions were just silly ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

You know what's the funny thing is we know imaginary friends don't exist and monster don't exist either
but religious people do not use that same reasoning when it comes to god. Because god by definition
is just a imaginary friend.

If I was going to pick any friend I could have from the world of fiction, I think I'd prefer just about anyone to Yahweh. At least Skeletor doesn't watch you on the job and order you to kill your relatives.

The law is still in effect. All of it. If you could be bothered to even read the summery review of the romans study I posted I point out that in chapter 3 Paul shows us it is the Law that shows us we are in sin and in need of redemption. It is by the law that all unrepentant will be judged. However it is also the law that affords us atonement and salvation. How can he say this? because 1/3 to 1/2 of the law is dedicated to ways of atoning for sin. When Chirst said he came to fulfill the Law he was talking about not only extending the do's and don'ts of the law to include thought, but to provide permanent atonement.
Quote: The law will not lose even the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter until "It is Finished."
What was Christ's final word on the cross?
"It is Finished." Meaning the time that the law could not change was at an end.
1 out of 4, drippy.
Quote:Luke 23:44-46
Quote:It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.
I guess for a moron like you 1 out of 4 is "proof." huh?

Nothing that was said in the Old or New Testament has any bearing on the people of today. It was all directed at the people of the time it was allegedly written.
The Bible is nothing more than a pesky curiosity.

Paul is dead. Abbey Road proves it.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

It just seems so silly to believe that your beloved lord and savior came down to this world to spread his message, but after visiting us himself, god needed a little extra help from some human many years later.
Christ's message was to point out that the Jews corrupted the Law so badly it no longer represented what God had intended. Christ trained up many Apostles to 'clarify' things in his time here. If your picture of God does not make an allowance for what Christ actually did, then perhaps you don't have an accurate picture of God in your mind.

As much as I hate threads like this...
1. I believe his question was about Paul.
2. How do you know your picture of God is accurate?
