It's stupid. The main argument for defunding PP is that people don't want their tax dollars going towards abortion. Which they don't already. PP does a lot for women, including sometimes abortions, but that's the one area that isn't funded by the government. I'm a guy too, but it still ticks me off.

There are plenty of places that provide all the services that PP provides except the abortions and the sale of dead babies.  Let the funding go to them and women can still receive those services.

They do not sell dead babies. They donate them for science, and there are transportation costs. And can you list some places that do everything PP does except abortions? Not to mention the fact that women do need abortions from time to time, so why not defund those other places and give to PP?

Nah, We need PP to abort all potential Christians fetuses so they can be sold as cattle feed. I mean it would be preferred if they can be brought to terms so they can be baked and eaten by us atheists in lieu of turkeys during thanks giving, but we all know there is now serious risk of prion diseases from eating Christian brain tissue.

How far down the page do I have to get before they list exactly what clinics, and compare what they do to what Planned Parenthood does, and the average costs between them? Plus the fact that this is connected to a conservative based organization makes me think it's a bit biased.

This topic gets me so pissed that I may have missed it BUT... Not one dime of federal money goes to planned parenthood's abortion services! Please keep this in mind as well when all the men want to get on their high horse on the abortion issue. When you get one of us pregnant your happy ass gets to turn around and walk away and you do it allllllll the time ( And no, I have never had one but I have seen too many women left in a lurch when men that want to be pro abortion walk off after getting them pregnant )

Preventing planned parenthood from receiving federal funding is yet another way the Republicans are trying to make it harder for women to get an abortion, at the expense of everything else. Remember when they tried to attaching an anti-abortion bill to a human trafficking bill?

Somewhere around... let's say 5%, because that's being generous of planned parenthood services go toward abortion. They don't 'sell' fetal tissue, they donate it and are (no longer) compensated for storage of the tissue and nothing more.

Anit-Choicers will do anything to limit abortions... unless it costs them money.
