as apposed to 'pop morality said it, I believe it and that settles it?' Please do you people not get that 'pop morality' marched the Jews into death camps, put Indians on death marches/reservations, and the like?

There is no such thing as pop morality morality is just morality.
Why is it that back in biblical days people were murdering, killing, raping, etc in the name of god.
Opposed to now where people for the most part are  more moral to the biblical counter part.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.

Joseph was promoted according to the Bible ... no longer a slave ... please stop embarrassing yourself

By title yes he was promoted to governor (chapter 45 of genesis) however in freedom Pharaoh still controlled his ability to come and go as he liked. Example found in Genesis 50 when he wanted to bury his Father in his home land. He had to Ask Pharaoh and vow he would return as soon as his task was complete, and Pharaoh only allowed him to go based on his vow.

Now if you were simply employed by the state would you not simply inform them of your need for time off? Why would one have to swear out a vow to return, unless one is not free to come and go as he pleases? Not to mention Pharaoh also sent an entire envoy of Egyptians with him including servants, heads of state and soldiers.

But what really tells us that Joseph is a slaves is found in Genesis 47 when the drought gets so bad All of Egypt sells everything they have to Pharaoh (including all regents and governors) While Pharaoh retained title and deed they retain control/worked their lands. Yet the drought continues and finally they sell themselves, at which point Pharaoh simply took care of them till the end of the drought. And they are reported to have said in Genesis 47:25 The people said, “You have saved our lives. We are happy to be slaves to Pharaoh.”

The only exception slavery were the priests. Joseph and His family (who at that time lived in Egypt) were apart of "all the people of Egypt."

Lol, Morality is not an absolute.
What was moral a generation or two ago is immoral today and vise versa.

For instance Homosexuality was Immoral a generation ago, and now it is immoral to question it's pop morality. another example two generations ago abortion was Highly Immoral, and now to try and stop an abortion will land one in jail. In 1940's Germany it was one's civic duty to report unregistered jews, and the state sponcered church made it a moral sin to anyone who protected jews.

Morality changes with the culture. What it popular and moral today can be considered Highly immoral tomorrow.

"Sorry" means  it won't happen again. I'm going to hold you to that.

Actually the word sorry verbalizes a wish for penance. To mockingly say it over and over displays a feeling of oppression under an authoritarian rule.. Ironically much like your peer understanding of slavery.

In that case, never ever again come to me in my capacity as Admin for any help whatsoever, since I oppress you.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Don't confuse what man identifies as morality and Absolute righteousness as defined by God.

Morality is a works based system of right and wrong. Something obtainable, which is why the standard/bar of morality is always being lowered. While Perfect Righteousness can only be obtained through redemption.

So did God have to go through a redemption of some sort?

I think so. It took watching himself get tortured and killed, to make him realize what an egotistical drama queen he really was. So he blew his brains out. (The Big Bang Theory.)
