I was fantasizing about a pseudo-religious paper with a Cthulhu twist, based on Hovind's yammerings. I still don't get the joke. Help me out?

Kent Hovind's "Ph.d dissertation" read like a grade school paper and begins: "Hi, my name is Kent Hovind." It's online somewhere and findable by Google. I found and downloaded a copy of Hovind's "Dissertation". I just realized that I need another expression of shock and horror, but for now . . . my reaction was OH MY GOD. This "Dissertation" is . . . possibly worse than the Master's thesis I was describing. It's horribly written, full of grammar and spelling errors, no research, no citations, no bibliography - - it is total and complete dreck. This wouldn't have gotten a decent grade as a high school project. It's awful.
I wish there was some file repository here, I could save a copy, and share the misery with all of my AF friends. Thanks Cthulhu, for letting me know it exists. Wow.

All bible versions say all Scripture is suitable for whatever, so I don't see how any supposed Christer could ever acknowledge any flaw in which ever version of the Bible they feel is the right one.
And asserting as much would be blasphemy, heresy and apostasy. He might as well be an atheist . . . . The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
You'd think the "correct" religion would become pretty obvious, wouldn't you?
I mean, imagine a football league where there is this rumour of an amazing player, one which is infinitely better than every other player combined. He is so good, you can't possibly lose with him on your team. Every team is claiming they have signed him, although no one is quite sure exactly who he is. You would think that if one of the teams actually had this player, the results would be incredibly obvious. There would be no debate about what team this player was actually on once the games started. Feel free to send me a private message.

Someone should ask Hovind if God put penalties in the tax code to weed out the non-compliers. Boru

I don't remember if he has a real degree even from religious colleges which really are not anything but degree mills. Liberty does teach some real subjects but the real intent of the school is to keep the Falwell family in power. Meh, same thing. |
