This is absolutely the dumbest fucking thing you've ever contributed on these forums. That says a lot.

Just because I'm from the south doesn't mean I'm bigoted, which I'm not, even towards atheist. To bad the same can't be said about you. What I was saying God doesn't see races, man kind is the one that has the problem.

Perhaps, God also apparently doesn't see slave ownership as all that bad.  FSM Grin

In your Bible, has Deuteronomy been edited out? Chapter 7 contains a long list of instructions from God ordering the Israelites to conduct a scorched-earth pogrom against virtually ALL of their ethnically different neighbours.

You may also have missed this bit: 'An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever.' Deuteronomy 23:3

You also seem to have glossed over the verses in Matthew where Jesus refused to help (and was reluctant to even speak with a woman) solely because she was a Canaanite. Sure, he eventually helped her, but only after being shamed into it.

If the God of Abraham wasn't racist, he gave a spot-on impression of being so.

That's the Old Testament. We ignore that now, except for the bit about refusing cake sales to gays. And the three commandments.

Any thoughts on this?

I am certainly not a fan, especially if both are from completely different cultures, unless one is completely willing and wants to be assimilated by the other culture. There are far too many provisions to be made to keep everything fair, and eventually one spouse will begin to resent the other, unless they are willing to give everything up. Not to mention the children have to be super strong unless they look enough like one of the races to pass off as a member of that race. they will have no one to identify with, even in their own mom/dad cousins grand parents etc... (they will all be one race or the other)

Interracial relationships are often done by selfish people, or those looking to better their situation. neither typically give thought to the effect of the relationship the family they come from or the one they will leave behind.

One other thing to note.. Have you EVER Seen an Old interracial couple? they are very few and far between, why? because they fight over things people of the same race take for granted, things like food, division of chores, gender roles, in laws, the kids that have a hard time connecting, ect it all gets toooo much and they split.

Unless again one spouse is willing to be assimilated into the others culture.

As far as God is concerned Christian's should not marry non Christians. Nor should we divorce if one comes to or leaves the faith and the other does not.

RE: Interracial Marriage and the Bible
People that are against interracial marriage are racist.  Seems pretty simple to me.

Christians think that Christians shouldn't marry non-Christians.  That means inter-faith relationships are considered bad too.    Then again, I can't see why anyone would want to marry a Christian like that unless they weren't just as fucked up themselves.
