Who told you I've never done that? Plus, the burden here is on you, not me. You seem confident that this is all legit, so I thought maybe all of a sudden you had an example that would finally explain to me such confidence. But at this point, all I can surmise is that you're just intellectually a little lazy, and that is why you are quick to believe certain things without doing enough fact-checking ...

I am confident that it is legit, but I'm not trying to convince anyone. So, no burden. I just came to this thread to let the OP know that it cannot be considered a "Catholic miracle" unless the Church approves of it. If you want to conclude that I'm intellectually lazy without barely knowing anything about me and what I have and have not done, seen, and gone through, then go at it I guess.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I don't know much about you, true. But, regarding your revelation, you sure don't make it easy for anyone to believe that you did witness a divine miracle. Usually, such vagueness is due to the fact that revealing enough details would just give your experience away as just a mere interesting coincidence or a flawed perception (shared by two fallible human beings in that specific moment) of what went on.

(my bold)

Again, I'm not trying to.

Some of you seem to think that all us theists are bound and determined to debate with you and convince you to believe what we believe. Go back and read all 5ish or so posts I  made on this thread. Not a single one was about trying to prove anything to anyone, except to inform the OP what he posted is not a "Catholic Miracle." Which is true.

I couldn't care less if strangers on the internet believe the same stuff I believe, and I couldn't care less about trying to convince you otherwise . You, on the other hand, sure seem to though.

You've not yet addressed why the church, or even yourself, can't confirm this from the divine authority, god himself. The miracles in the bible were confirmed by the prophets, jesus, and the HG. Why would god not confirm his miracles within his close relationships., assuming the purpose of his miracles is to expose his glory?

Even fucking AL-queda claims their actions though a confirming spokesman.

I'm not sure how to answer your question because I don't understand what you're asking.

What exactly are the miraculous criterion for approval?

They actually just need to determine if it actually was a miracle and not something that can be explained by natural causes. Like for example if a person who has cancer all of the sudden wakes up the next day with the cancer completely gone, they would need to determine if this was possible, medically. If the person's cancer had a 30% chance of being cured, for example, then they can't prove that it's a miracle. It would need to have a 0% chance of being cured. And they do this by investigating and interviewing the person's doctors, care givers, looking at ex rays, etc. It's usually a process that can take more than 10 years.

They (the Catholic Church hierarchy) lie so much, though, and so often.  I think that they wait so long because they are afraid of "the other shoe" pulling the rug out from them.  That is why the "seers" of Fatima were not canonized until after the death of Sister Lucia, even though Francisco, and Jacinta had died over 70 years earlier.  The Vatican wanted to make sure that they were all dead, unless Lucia be exposed as a fraud.  In fact, one hypothesis with respect to the death of Pope John Paul I (not JP II) is that he died after meeting with Sister Lucia, and she confessed to him that it was out boredom that her and her cousins had made the whole thing up.  JP I, on hearing this news, died a few weeks later, out of shock.

A 'miracle' might actually manifest itself as the church stopping the hiding of assets to pay abuse claims.

I'd buy into one like that.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
