After eight years of Liberty University's "best and brightest" fucking up everything in sight in the Bush Justice Department, Falwell has a hell of a nerve pretending now to worry about religious influence in government. Yeah, fuck him, his family, and the entire Liberty University crowd of morons, most of whom would be peddling their laughable legal credentials in ads for bogus insurance claim settlements and DUI convictions if not for the government gravy train that was rolled out for them, courtesy of Bush's dimwitted Evangelical beliefs and his cynical need to pander to these assholes.

I take that family personally having spent almost a decade living in that city. I really had not payed much attention to them prior to attending a different college in that area. Quickly learned the history of bullying the Falwell family did to that city, even long before I went there. Even the right wing in that area who go to different churches hate that family. Falwell spent his time selling xenophobia of anyone not his sect. That asshole at one point tried to bully the city into getting a mountain name changed to "Liberty Mountain".
Hitchens was absolutely right "If you gave that man an enema you could bury him in a matchbook".
