If you reject evolution you are not a "real" (intellectually honest) scientist. End of story.
Wernher von Braun was a "creationist", does that mean hes not a real scientist?

You see I put "real" in quotation marks, yes?

I never bothered to look up von Braun's religious believes. But, apart from being a Nazi and an opportunist, he was an engineer and had nothing to do with relevant sciences when it comes to creation vs evolution.

Not to get too far off topic here but I bet you would find this interesting. This is Carol Rosin who worked with Wernher von Brauns and exposed to her the plan for space based weapons. There was a list of enemies that the world would face in order to justify through scare tactics of various weapons programs:
1. Russians
2. Terrorists
3. Third world country crazies
4. Asteroids
5. Extraterrestrials was the final card they will play
Said it was all a lie to keep the money flowing, and the technology exists now, but remains state secret, especially in the US, but other countries have it as well.

He was an aerospace engineer, with a doctorate in physics.
Also no stipulations were made on any specific scientific field.
As a matter of fact, which scientific field deals with "creation vs evolution" anyway?

So long as he knew how to differentiate his faith from his work, there should not have been a problem.

Evolution is a vital part of the science of "Biology."
Creatardism has nothing to do with science. It's religious horseshit as you know so well....being a religious horseshitter.

It's kind of a prerequisite that the people involved understand what it is they are even discussing. If they don't, their opinion isn't of much importance. I've never heard a single person who can demonstrate they understand what evolution is, and then go on to say they think it doesn't happen. So among those informed enough to hold a sensible opinion, there is virtually no disagreement.
I could say that about a number of the theological arguments against Christianity here.... you digging yourself deeper, and avoiding the question at that.
The problem roadrunner, is that while you and Wallace know sweet Fanny Adams about evolution, most of us here on the forum are well versed in christianity and know it all too well. We refute the tenets of christianity based on our knowledge and can back it up with relevant citations. You fail to refute evolution because of your lack of knowledge and relevant citations.

So then when straw men and ddistortions are argued against, what should I make of that?
And I think you may be making assumptions about my knowledge of evolution which may not hold up.

Roadrunner...I'm exactly sure what you are arguing for in this thread. Maybe it would help if you were a little more specific in regards to your point.
